Super mannne
Tabloids
I can breathe in space
Flying no big deal...
God bless the USA
Hitting the weights
I transformed myself into super man because he was the first thing I thought of when this project was assigned. The most challenging part of this project was matching my skin tone to the pictures. The simple part about this project was cutting my head out and placing it onto the other picture. I would add a picture of super man with fire around him because that is kind of an iconic photo when you think of super man....I ran out of time to dramatically transform 2 I am SO SORRY!

Ideal World...sorry I thought I did this one
If I lived an Ideal world I would be living in down town Minneapolis in one of the nice expensive new apartments. I have always thought they were really nice and a cool place to live. You would look out at night and see all the bright sky scrapers and the beautiful skyline. Common things would be business people and car traffic due to the downtown location. People that lived there would be higher class nice quality honest people, people you like to be around. We would interact peacefully with each other and possible have small gatherings such as grill outs and roof top parties. Something unique about my ideal world is everyone wears Nike shoes because Nikes are soooo sick! Nikes > Everything...just saying :)
Collage
This is my collage I call it the good life, because this would be the good life for me, plain and simple. The changes I made are when I cut and put and image into my collage I would then add effects to it, such as with the taco bell sign I brightened it to bring out the look of it. My idea did not change much throughout my project, I simply put things in it that I like so I just kept adding things that interest me. Some new things I tried in my collage was overlapping things such as the water fall and the stones in the bottom left portion. I think the city in the back was most successful because it really catches your eyes at first glance. There isn't really anything I would change, but maybe a new back round instead of my current one which is a piece of wood. I choose the wood because I like the trees and nature.
American Photography (part 2)
There were a few events that really opened my eyes in this segment, such as the spread of newer photography tactics and how it really advanced photos. The photos have really changed, first off they are a lot better quality and are much easier to spread across the world fast. They have had a big effect, they are key to advertising well and getting ur word out. You would see bigger cameras that can zoom farther, also you would see events like the super bowl and the 35w bridge collapse covered.

Transformation Brainstorm
If I could turn myself into anyone else for this project, it would be Superman because he is such an iconic person and a lot of kids want to be like him. I think I will photograph myself by some buildings and also looking like I am flying so in an out stretched position. So props I will need are somewhat of super powers look alike, such as lighting in the back round or something along those lines. I will also need to purchase a superman t shirt! :) I wont have to do much research do to the fact that superman isn't real. I will look into iconic photos of him though.
I will create the super hero mood in my photos by taking certain angles of shots, such as shooting pictures with me above the camera to look powerful. Also I will not tend to smile in my photos to get a serious type of sense in the photo.

Documentary photos
I planned on doing halloween but that idea feel through so I decided to use to photos that I took when I visited my brother a few weeks ago. Sorry for if that is an inconvience.
This is the spot on campus it is one of the many buildings on campus.
Here is a photo of the cadets marching information and the front men are holding the flags of honor for the USA.
Here in the main pack of the marchers, nothing better than supporting the good old United States.
This is a shot of there football field as the stands are filling up, it is a great place to spend a saturday.
Another picture of the field and some near by fans as they root on there son Jordan.
Game time, stands packed players ready and the cadets out on the field doing the pre-game salutes. It is a very unique experience to say the least!

Proposal: documentary photography
I am planning on documenting halloween for my project. I will be around my friends and family, and it will be easy to snap some photos to document the event. I decided to do halloween because it will be fun and it will have many chances to capture the moments and shots I need. I will probably take the photos at my house and at my friends house as well. I will take photos of people in costumes, eating candy, and socializing. The time that I will photograph will probably in the evening and night. The darkness with fit with the halloween theme!

American Photography Part two
There where a few events that stood out to me in the movie we watched in class. The first one that really stood out were the WW2 pictures. They were sad and sometimes graphic but they showed people who weren't on the front lines what was really going on out there. These photos showed the bravery that our troops showed out there fighting for our freedom. One other event that stuck in my mind was the halocuast. The horrible photos that were taken at the time are around now to remind us of our tragic past, and to never go back to that. The things that were done to the people in the camps were terrifying and extremely inhumane. Photography takes many horrifying photos but it is good so we can learn from our mistakes as a country and a world for that matter.
If I could document one thing in all of history it would be the civil war. I would want to do the civil war beacause of a few reason. First off it was a very tough time for our country but also made us what we are today. Another reason is beacuse it would have been an extreme adrenaline rush. The shots that could of been taken during this time would of been outstanding! I really wish I would of been around during this time with the technology we have now. Something that would interest me in documenting for class would be maybe a sporting event or a group event involving teenagers to capture pictures of people my age.

Sun Glasses Stunna
Chilling on the Bench
This is another photo of my brother I took of him when he came back to visit us a little bit ago. He loves to mess around so he decided to try and be funny and sit down with his new "friend" there on the bench.
Nothing like Friendship
This picture was taken by my mom when my friends from my old school came up to visit me this fall. They helped my through a lot when I moved, thats why I titled it what I did. These guys are one of a kind and id do anything for them!
Model shot
As I read my report I noticed that I shouldn't of used this photo. This photo was taken when me and Aidan went and took photos.
Mother
This is a picture of my mom. I took this photo in the kitchen because that is usually where I find her! This is my favorite photo because I wouldn't be who I am today with out her!

The subject matter in the photos I took include a red flower pot, a green riding lawn mower, the back of a chair, a fan, some rocks I have at home, and last but not least box of flowers and vines. The changes I made to each of my photos was mainly brightness and contrast as well as hue and saturation besides that there were not many other changes that I made. The photo I like the best is the one that I took of the rocks, I like it because it has a good amount of brightness and the wood in the back round looks nice too. As I did this project I discovered that I am the type of photographer that needs to take lots and lots of photo to get the one I like. I found myself finding something I wanted to photograph but then having to take tons of photos to get the one I liked, but that is not a bad problem. If I could do this project again I would want to take more photos outside. I like nature and think that some photos of the outdoors would have really worked well on this project.

LIne Color and Texture
Color photo
The subject matter is the coke bottles in the picture. The shot angle is an eye level or it could be a close up. The composition is symmetrical it is even pretty much all the way across the photo. It is a good photo because the color really makes it pop.
Line photo
The subject matter is the bridge and ropes through out the photo. The shot or angle is long shot and
the composition is rule of thirds. It is a successful shot because of the pretty landscape and the good angle set up.
Texture photo
The subject matter of the photo is the mud and the rail road tracks. The photo shot type is high angle and the composition is asymmetry. The photo is successful because it makes u think differently then most photos you see and look at now a days.

Learning shots and angles
This is a birds eye veiw shot, because it is from directly above. if the angle changed it would be high angle.
Eye level shot ...
This is an eye level shot of this turtle because it is even level with its eyes, if the photo changed it could be zoomed into to a close up.
Establishing shot ...
This is my establishing shot because it is an extreme long shot. If it was changed a little bit such as if it was zoomed in a ways it would be a long shot.
Close up shot ...
This is my close up shot, and it is a close up because it shows the face from the chin to the top of hair line. It would be an extreme close up if it was zoomed way in like on the panda's nose or eyes.
Symmetry ...
This is my symmetry photo, and it fits that description because it is split perfectly right down the center of the photo. If it was not symmetrical at all and was not rule of thirds it could be asymmetry.
Rule of thirds ...
This photos fits the rule of third category, because it is split horizontally in thirds and vertically in thirds as well, if it was directly symmetrical then it would be a symmetric photo.
