The video we watched in digital art was a very informative video. It talked about numerous different things from how photos helped in World War 2, to straight photography which was were you keep the image the way you first saw it. It was very neat to see how a simple thing such as a photo really changed the USA. Another cool invention with photography was the invention of the brownie camera, it was a very small easy to work camera with few buttons. It was sold for only a dollar, which mad it very affordable to the every day families. A quater of a million were sold in the America alone!
One thing that really surprised me was that during WW2 there were no photos of dead soldiers put in newspapers or magazines. How ever with photography there are still a few questions I have like who was the person to decide to put a flash on a camera to perfect the shot? As simple as that seems I am very curious about it.
