Font Reflection

I named my font sticks and blocks, because if you look at it thats what it looks like.

The style of my font is pretty simple, its thick letters with little lines coming off the top corners on the top and bottom of the Letters.

My font came from my idea of how people our today they dont like to mess around they are just straight to the point.

My font is like me it does not like to waste space time or energy its just straight to the point just like me and my daily ways :)

The hardest point was to get the letters to all look somewhat a like.

My biggest sucees is that there is not anyone elses font like it in the class.

If I could make a second font it would be called chicken scratch and it would look like first grade writing

Helvetica Response

1. A font can really set the mood for a paper poster flyer etc.. It is what the reader will see at first and depending on the font thats choosen it will determine if the reader is interested or not.

2. When I am on the computer typing its usually for school not for fun. So with that being said I usually use Times New Roman because that is what my english teacher requires.

3. The type used is a big sign of the times and the place where the world is. The more new uptown looking fonts really show that the world is industrializing. Also the older more creative fonts can be used in good ways to keep it old school :).

4. I think that this would have a big impact on my feelings of the company. If nike changed there font and it looked worse I would deffently be sad and might switch shoes. If the font was cooler though than that would be sweet, its a risk reward type of thing though for a company and it depends person to person on wheather or not they would like it.

5. The  film really got me thinking about how much font there is out in the world. Before this film I did not think twice about fonts ot there, but after seeing it you really see that font makes a big difference in our daily lifes.

6. The film made me more aware of font as I said above, also it has also interested me in graphic design a little bit more! :)

Money blog talk

The money project was deffently a lot of fun and really aloud me to be very creative! I liked being able to just do my thing and see what happened. With that being said to label my money the first two were fronts and the last one was the back. The names of my money was the money amount then wongs. I got the idea of wongs from a korean type of money called the dongs. I got the model and look from a middle eastern type of money from the country Iraq. Overall it was a great project that I really enjoyed!

Answers.

My country is located in the middle east area, by the arabian penisula.

The culture is very unique and different than the USA's. People there just wake up and get rowdy! Everyone messes around and clowns around and tells jokes! This isnt a person there who doesnt joke around, the national food is pizza and soup with a side of cheese bread.

Everyday life is you wake up and go hang out with your friends and getg rowdy and mess around. You can play sports if you like, such as football basketball whatever else makes you happy. Its a care free country and very laid back. You do what you want simple as that.

The country is very pretty, there are oceans and mountains, there is no winter there ethier. Its climate is tropical and it ranges from 70 to 90 degrees. There are palm trees, green grass, and great vegitation.

Our country sounds amazing, there is often music throughout the streets. It varies from hip hop to country to r and b it just depends on the mood!

The country smells like soup and pizza, because those our are narions food.

The colors of our flag are pretty simple, navy blue and bright white.

National slogan : Live free and dont have a worry!

Our symbol is a camel because a camel is just chilling all the time, no rush no hurry, just calm and having fun. Also because camels are soooo sick!

Our leader in Nat kebede because Nat is a boss and is super funny, his title is Cancelor Nat.

Our name is Father land.

kicks stop motion...i just included a little bit of our video

The idea behind our animation was that both Aidan and I have lots of Jordans and Nikes and we thought it would be cool to use them in our project. Our biggest success was the fact that we used a lot of different shoes so then it did not get boring. The biggest struggel was the ending and how to wrap it all up. If we did it over again I would not change much, but I would make it involve more shoes. If we made a second video it would be kicks 2 and we would probably take the shoes downtown MPLS!
